Meet Andy Cambron & Peter Klipfel, the minds behind grupo – Denver’s newest premiere event management & community engagement platform. With a wealth of experience in event hosting, Andy recognized the need for a platform that goes beyond mere logistics, fostering deeper connections with and supporting communities. grupo is an Eventbrite alternative for event management and ticketing platform designed to help event managers build deeper connections throughout their communities.

Effective Tools With You in Mind

Andy’s journey in event hosting spans nearly a decade, marked by collaborations with diverse artists, musicians, and venues. Like most of us, Andy saw how websites like Eventbrite were not delivering on what they promised. Drawing from his experiences he started building an event site that would have meet his needs as an event coordinator. Thus, grupo was born, with a mission to simplify event management and amplify the impact of gatherings. Peter started hosting and contributing to technical meetups in the front range a decade ago. Following COVID’s devastation of the event industry, he missed the energy and vibrancy that in-person communities had previously provided, and found a way to help rebuild this lost energy in grupo.

COVID was a rough time for the existing event platforms in the industry, and as a consequence, they’re having to focus on fixing their business operations & changing their pricing models rather than serving their customers more effectively. This is leaving event hosts stuck in a bad situation and means that grupo will be much better able to serve event organizers and community managers through efficient collaboration tools that seamlessly provide more coordination & connection among organizers and attendees.

  • Box office support with an easy QR scanner built into the web application so you can seamlessly scan tickets.

  • Embedded calendar to showcase all of your upcoming events.  You can configure your organization’s calendar to allow others to post their events to it, providing a single space to inform the community about upcoming events.

  • Does not charge the host to use the platform!  Grupo takes a small service fee paid by the attendees.
